Chris Jones is the author of this popular repair guide. When you read it it's clear that he knows what he’s talking about. He takes you step-by-step through the same repair process he uses when he repairs X360's. What impressed us about this package is that Chris has taken the time to include a video of the repair process. This helps immensely. The ebook has plenty of pictures too. He uses simple everyday tools and also gives you a bit of background about "why" the problem occurs in the first place. You may or may not care about the "why" but for me, it added a lot to his credibility.

"XBox 360 - 3 Lights Fix- Gamerbots" Review

Gamerbot's XBox 360 3 Lights Fix guide is written by a gamer who has repaired many 360's. He takes a no-nonsense, get-to-the-point type of approach. He covers more than just the "Red Ring of Death" including graphics errors and system freeze-ups.

This is a comprehensive guide. Video's have recently been added, but too late to be included in this review.

Gamerbot's guide follows the traditional step 1, step 2, step 3 approach used by most "Do it Youself" ebooks. We have no complaints with the clarity of the repair instructions given. Anyone following the instructions carefully should be able to get their XBox up and running in about an hour. The recent addition of video should be a good improvement to this product. We will review the video's as soon as they are made available to us.

Ease of Repair:

All of the repair guides reviewed here correct the same overheating problem. They all take slightly different paths to get the same result. The repair is not difficult. It just requires some attention to the instructions and taking one's time. Gamerbot's repair is easy and anyone following the exact instructions should be playing their XBox again in an hour or so.
